My University had a concert 'Sounds in the sun' this weekend and surprisingly there were some pretty cool stalls. My favourite happened to be a nail stall (shock) were I scored a cheap dotting tool since toothpicks are not very good.

It was no surprise that the next nail pattern I do will involve dotting.
Doing dots is great, you get to use as many colours as you like without looking crazy.
Here I didn't want to take the gems off yet so I just did 2 fingers.
Then I used 12 colours to crete all of these dots.
Conclusion: When you do your own dotting at home make sure that your polish isn't thick otherwise it leaves strings (like the yellow), but if you'll use it, definitely get a dotting tool.
